What We Offer
The Bronx New Mommies Group Inc. has a variety of actvities and events for moms and ther families. We have evening and weekend events for moms who work inside and outside the home.
We offer support groups, activities, workshops and discussion groups. If you are interested in attending our activities, groups, workshops, etc.,
We invite you to "Meet Us" at our Intro to the BNMG Sessions. If you have questions, please call, Roxanne at (800) 435-3314
Light refreshments are served during our Groups, Meetings and Chats. We would appreciate a $2 Donation when attending Groups, Meetings and Chats. (First Time Guest are not required to pay the $2 Donation)

Support Groups & Meetings
*Coffee/Tea Chat ™ *
Exciting discussions take place during our Coffee/Tea Chats. Our Coffee/Tea chats are held as an informal discussion and are based around a variety of selected topics relating to motherhood, important woman's issues, children, and parenting. Children play while moms participate in the discussions.
This chat is open to moms with children of any age.
*New & Expectant Moms Group*
Our New & Expectant Mom Group is four sessions of informal discussion, offering new moms an opportunity to explore the issues related specifically to being a new mom. New moms share, support and connect with one another. Expectant Moms discuss the exciting changes that they experience both physically and mentally. Expectant Moms share when their babies are due and discuss their labor and delivery concerns, how to prepare for baby, best products and much more.
This group is open to moms with children from a few weeks to 1 years old.
*Moms of Tweens Chat*
This is a fun informal chat session for parents who have children that are in beTWEEN toddler and teenager, ages 6-8 years old. Our moms of tweens chat is a time for moms to socialize, receive and give support, share experiences and discuss common concerns faced by moms of this in beTWEEN age group. Tweens will participate in various creative activities including arts and crafts, stories and more.
This group is open to moms with children 6 years old to 8 years old.
*Grandmas Group*
We can't forget the women that love, teach and guide us in our journey through motherhood. Our Grandmas Group offers Grandmas a chance meet to make new friendships with other Grandmas and to participate in social activities with their daughter and grandchild.
This group is open to all Grandmas!
*Creative Children's Corner Program™*
Our Creative Children's Program is designed to help children socialize and participate in fun activities such as: arts and crafts, story-time and music and movement. Children will be served a light snack also.
This program is open to children 1 years old and up. Seasonal Program.
*General Meeting*
This meeting is designed for members to socialize and discuss/plan our organization's future meetings, events, activities, and handle all other organization business. During this meeting, children can participate in our Creative Children's Corner Program which features arts and crafts, storytime and other activities.
*Clothing, Toys & Book Swap*
Members swap, clothes, toys and books and other items that are gently used but still in good condition with other members. This is a great way to recycle things that you don't want anymore that someone else may be able to use.

Parent Workshops
Ready For Preschool?
This workshop will help parents with how to select a preschool program for their child and how to find the right program to suit the personality of their child. The workshop will also cover the preschool admission process, how to prepare your child for preschool, public and private preschool options and much more.

Members Services
*Parent Library*
Our parent library offers our members a selection of great resources. We currently have books and videos for checkout. Members may check out two (2) items at one time. Items can be checked out for two weeks and can be renewed twice. Members who wish to check out items, can Email us for a list of the books and videos that are available for checkout.
We accept Donated items as well. If you have any Books, Videos, DVDs, etc. that you would lke to Donate, please call Roxanne at (718) 415-2018, to make arrangements.
*Mommie Care Program*
This special support service is offered to "New Mommies" and "Mommies-To-Be" (Bed Rest) We provide Non-Judgmental Emotional Support to the New Mommie and her family after giving birth. We also offer Moral Support for the New Mom to ask questions and share her concerns about her new role as a mother. Learn More and Sign Up for Services.
In time of crisis, we offer support services to Mommies in the following situations: death in the family, separation or divorce, illness, injury, hospitalization. Please Contact Us immediately if you need additional support services.
Community Outreach Program
The Bronx New Mommies Group Inc.'s Community Outreach Program reaches out to other mothers and provides friendship, support and encouragement. Community Outreach is provided through Events, Donations and more.
*BNMG Community Baby Shower*
The BNMG Community Baby Shower is an annual event designed to offer New and Expectant Mothers, support, information, resources and free basic essentials free of charge. Maternity Clothes will also be available.
*BNMG Holiday Spirit Gift Program/Event*
The BNMG Holiday Spirit Gift Program/Event is an annual event held during the holiday season which offers support and provides families with new toys and gently used coats for their children in an effort to make their holiday special. Adult coats will also be available.

*Moms Meditation Group*
Our Moms Meditation Group offers moms support for their mind, body & soul. Moms come together in a relaxed atmosphere, to become more peaceful, more focused and find balance in their everyday lives. This informal group will help moms relax, relieve stress, learn quick and simple techniques to de-stress and deal with challenging situations. Yogi Tea is served. Prior meditation experience is not required.
*Scrapbook/Craft Party Group*
Our Scrapbook/Craft Party Group is where our members come together to get creative and work on new and unfinished scrapbook or craft projects. This is a great place to start for moms who are interested in scrapbooking or crafting but have never tried it before. Members can socialize, share and preserve their memories all in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Food, beverages and snacks are served.
*Dad's Group*
Our Dad's Group gives Dad's a chance to socialize and have fun with other Dad's and their kids.
*Yoga Moms Group*
Our Moms Yoga Group is a 30 min. unstructured group, which offers moms an opportunity to spend time and connect with a community of mothers to relax, gain flexibility, gently stretch and strengthen their bodies and minds. Yogi Tea is served. Prior yoga experience is not required.
