Letter from Founder/Executive Director
Hello, My name is Roxanne Taylor. The birth of my beautiful daughter inspired me to start The Bronx New Mommies Group Inc. In 2002 when my daughter was six months old, I did not have much adult interaction during the daytime as a stay-at-home mom. I felt a strong need to interact with other moms like myself. I did not know where to turn. I knew there were other mothers out there looking to make that same connection. How would I be able to meet them? I came up with the idea of starting a mother's group that would allow moms the opportunity to connect with other moms that shared similiar interest.My husband, was very excited about the idea as well. The Bronx New Mommies G roup Inc. was born. The Group has grown into a social support group that all mothers enjoy.
In 2006, I started a social group dedicated exclusively to social activities and events for mothers and children. Visit our Sister Site, Dynamic Metro Moms to learn more. I am very excited about the opportunity to serve mothers and children through both organizations.

Time Line:
2002, The Bronx New Mommies Group was started informally.
2003, The Group incorporated and became a non-profit organization. Our name changed to: The Bronx New Mommies Group Inc.
2004, We received Tax-Exempt Status.
2005, We became a Registered Charity.
