Group Guidelines
WHAT WE OFFER?
Our organization's goal is to offer a variety of meetings, activities and events which offer support and friendship to our members. You will find that we always have a full calendar with exciting meetings, events and activities each month. The best way to get the most out of our organization is to participate! We love for our members to help us plan the monthly calendar - if you have an ideas or suggestions for an event, we'd love to hear it!
We understand that sometimes it can be difficult to meet new people especially when you become a mom! Being a member of our group means making new and lasting friendships, gaining support, giving and receiving advice and always seeing a friendly familiar face at our meetings, and activities, events. You will find what you are looking for in a Group, right here!
MEMBERS ROLE
What is my role as a member of this group?
*Feel free to attend any and all meetings, activities and events that fit into your schedule which interest you.
*As a group member we ask that you attend group events at least once a month and visit our site and "Login" to our Member's Only Area at least once a month in order to continue "active member status".
*Be an active member, attend events and get to know each other.
*If you have a friend, tell them about us! Please update your RSVP if you cannot attend.
*If you will not be able to be active for a period of time, please let Roxanne know that you still are interested in being a member of the group, so you won't be removed due to lack of participation. We understand that life can get hectic sometimes!
*Please treat your "yes" RSVP with the same commitment and respect as you would a Doctor's appointment.
If you do not call or don't show up=no-show to a Yes RSVP 3 times, you will be subject to removal from the organization.
WHO SHOULD BE A MEMBER?
*We are open to Moms, Mom's-to-Be & Dads with children of all ages.
*We welcome moms who want to be active and attend our meetings, events and activities on a regular basis. (you don't have to come to everything, just attend at least once per month.)
*We welcome moms who have a desire to make new friendships for themselves and their children.
GROUP FEES
*Member Dues for BNMG Members are: $24 for 1 Year
*Members Dues are non-refundable, even if a member decides to voluntarily leave the group or is Removed by the Executive Director.
*When we have an Arts & Crafts activity scheduled for a meeting or event, There will be a $2 fee (per mom not per child). These are to cover materials for arts & crafts.
MEMBERS ONLY WEBSITE ACCESS
*New Members will gain access to our members only area of the website only after:
1.) Completing a Member Application and Submitting their Dues.
*Returning Members will gain access to our members only area of the website only after: 1.) Completing a Renewal Member Application and Submitting their Dues.
GUEST AT MEETINGS, EVENTS, ETC.
*Prospective Members are welcome to attend One of our Meetings or Activities, to see what were all about before being asked to join.
*Family & Friends are always welcome to attend with you as your guest especially at our Family Activities and Events.
*Please be advised that we do not allow guests to attend meetings or activities with you on a regular basis (more than twice) without purchasing a membership. Family Activities and Events are excluded from this policy.
OPEN COMMUNICATION
We have an open communication policy. This means if you have questions or concerns, regarding the organization, please relay your questions to Roxanne, who will be happy to assist you.
Please feel welcome to share your concerns. Just contact Roxanne through email or phone.
We do not tolerate gossip or any other hurtful talk about anyone in our organization. If you have issues with someone, please speak to the person openly and honestly to try to resolve the problem. If this cannot be done, please speak with the Executive Director for further assistance. (Personal Issues will be kept Confidential.)
SOLICITING, PROMOTING BUSINESSES & OTHER GROUPS
PLEASE DO NOT JOIN THIS GROUP WITH THE INTENT TO SELL TO US!
*If you have a business we would love to support you. Ask us about our Free and Low Cost advertising.
*If you are suspected of solicting, contacting members by phone or sending emails or spam about your business or activities or events related to your business to our members, you will be removed from the organization immediately!
Promoting other mother's groups to members of our organization is strictly forbidden!
*Members from other groups that have similiar activities may be prohibited from joining our group. We want you to enjoy our activities and not have to choose which group to attend. Exceptions will be made under special circumstances.
It took a lot of work to get where we are today and we will not allow anyone to use the results of our efforts to benefit competing groups/organizations.
If you are suspected of doing this you will be removed from the organization immediately!

*If you have an idea, suggestion etc. let us know.
*We would love you input! If you would like to host an event, we would greatly appreciate it.
*Tell us what you love about being a member! Write a member testimonial today!
