Mommy School™!
The Bronx New Mommies Group Inc.'s Mommy School™ is a fun interactive parenting education program that teaches mothers the essential skills needed to parent with confidence.
The Bronx New Mommies Group Inc.'s Mommy School™ will feature interactive small group activities, exercises informal Q& A and discussions on a wide variety of topics related to mothers, children and other family issues.
Mommy School™ Attendees Will:
*Acquire new, positive and useful mothering skills.
*Receive practical and valuable information, including resources.
*Receive and gain support from other mothers.
*Tackle some of the many mysteries of parenting.
* Receive a Mommy School™ Certificate.
*Have lots of fun!
This is all in an effort to help mothers embrace the joys and challenges along
their journey through motherhood!
The program is designed specifically for all mothers; new, and veteran mothers who want to gain the parenting skills needed to support the emotional development of themselves as well as their child and explore and better understand their role, needs and concerns as parents.
The Bronx New Mommies Group Inc. Mommy School™ will be held five times throughout the year and will be led by Moms for Moms.
Classes are:
*One day class; weekend afternoon session.
*Held in a cozy child-friendly environment. Toys available for children to play with.
*Class is held for two hours.
*Light refreshments and snacks will be served.
*Childcare will be available for an additional fee.

Mom Basics
Our Mom Basics class offers moms the basic essential information needed in the first few months as a parent. Topics covered include: Transition to Motherhood, Choosing Childcare,Tuning into your Child, Practical Tips & Resources and more.
This is a great class for moms with children from a few weeks old to 9 months.
Members:
$35/per person $42 per couple Non- Members:
$45/per person
$52 per couple Mom 101
Our Mom 101 class offers moms a wealth of information on handling the commoon issues faced with an older baby or toddler. Topics covered include: Motherhood & Indentity, Body Image, Making Time For You, Activities & Resources Keeping in Style, and more.This class is ideal for moms with children from 6 months to 2 yrs old.
Members:
$30/per person $37 per couple
Non- Members:
$40/per person $47 per couple
Mom 201
Our Mom 201 class offers moms useful information and simple solutions on raising their toddler/preschooler. Topics covered include: Potty Training, Making Time For You, Nursery, Preschool & Alternatives, Activities & Resources and more.
This is a great class for moms with children from 3 yrs old to 5yrs old.
